Tour de France - Burgundy
As we shake off the hangover and head north from our last stop in Rhone we head to Burgundy ready to celebrate Beaujolais day, a classic Kir Royal and of course Phil’s favourite… Chablis. We are swapping our focaccia for gougerers, sampling pungent epoisses du Bourgogne & rich red wine braised beef rib… still no snails to be seen (maybe on stop 3!)
6 courses, 6 wines, £75

Tour De France - Rhone Valley
The first event in our 2022-23 winter calendar. Expect five courses inspired by the traditional cuisine of the Rhone wine region with each dish matched with two classic wine styles. Expect lamb, olives, lavender, thyme, goats cheese, apricots, ripe tomatoes & of course plenty of garlic. Alongside classic Cotes du Rhone we’ll also line up a Viognier from next door to Condrieu, some nice old CNDP, Phil’s favourite Gigondas, aged blends of Marsanne and Roussanne & to finish some Muscat de Beaume de Venice. £75 per-person for all food & wine.

Terrace Towers
Phil finally gets to live his dream of running a Fawlty restaurant (don’t worry, he’s under strict instructions not to mention the war!)
A la Manuel, Tom will be picking wines from regions local to Barcelona to match to a five-course menu inspired by a certain hotel in Torquay.
Waldorf Salad & Duck with orange & cherries will absolutely make an appearance.

Chardonnay around the world
This is THE night to convert the Chardonnay hater (ABC!) in your life. Proof positive that the world’s most popular white grape is capable of producing at least one style that everyone can love.
From ancient buttery gems from Oz to the leanest, most mineral English innovations, every wine will be paired with a dish that brings out its character.

A Taste of Mexico
Eliminate the winter blues with a five course menu of fresh, zesty Mexican classics. No stodgy Tex Mex – this is lighter cuisine from south of the border driven by herbs, corn, chilli & citrus.
Pairings will span spirits, beer & wines to surprise & delight.

Burns Night & Bordeaux
Five courses of Scottish classics each paired with a wine style from Bordeaux. White, left bank, right bank & sweet with at least one quirky curveball.
Don’t panic, the main course isn’t a haggis.
£75pp

Terrace Tandoori
Five subtly spiced courses, each with an innovative or classic drinks pairing that stands up to the heat.
Not a turkey curry in site, we promise, but there will be some classy cocktails, craft beers & classic wine styles in evidence to expand your food-matching horizons.
